For founders & professionals

Jiu-jitsu for entrepreneurs

You spend your week making decisions with no clean answer. This is the one hour where the problem in front of you is the only one — no phone, no inbox, no room to overthink. It looks like a martial art. It works like a reset. On our mats in Defence Colony, the first class is free.

On the mat

Founders, professionals and people rebuilding a training habit — on the mats at Knots & Collar, Defence Colony.

An hour that’s yours

The real off-switch

You can’t check a message, plan tomorrow, or replay a bad call. The problem in front of you takes all of you — the only true break most founders get.

Composure under pressure

Practised, not preached

You learn to think clearly while someone is actively trying to control you. Do that enough times and a hard meeting stops feeling hard.

Progress you can feel

When everything else is ambiguous

Humbling, measurable, and quietly addictive. You lose, reset, and get a little better — a clear signal in a week that rarely gives you one.

Why it fits the way you work

Kindness over toughness

The mat is the one place you cannot multitask — and that is the point. You tap out, a lot, to people smaller and newer than you, which is the fastest cure for ego there is. You train in a room full of other people who build things, and you leave lighter than you arrived. It is real for fitness, too, without the monotony of a gym — how jiu-jitsu compares to the gym, and whether it works for self-defence.

Questions founders ask

Before your first class

I’m not fit, and it’s been years since I trained. Is that a problem?
No — that describes most people on their first day. You do not need fitness or flexibility to start; you build them by turning up. Every drill scales to whoever is doing it.
I have almost no time. How much does this actually take?
One class is about an hour. Two a week is enough to feel a real difference. It is the one hour where nothing can reach you — no phone, no inbox — which is exactly why busy people protect it.
Will I get injured?
Training is controlled and there is no pressure to spar before you are ready. You decide the intensity, you tap the moment you want to, and good partners look after you. The point is to leave better than you arrived, every time.
Can it fit around an unpredictable schedule?
Classes run seven days a week, morning and evening, so you can train around meetings and travel rather than the other way round. Come when you can; consistency beats perfection.
Do I need to book, or can I just try a class?
The first class is free. Use the form on this page or call +91 97179 56687 and we will tell you a session that suits your week.
