The Community

Group photographs of the Knots & Collar community — the members and coaches of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu studio in Defence Colony, New Delhi, India. A jiu-jitsu school is really its people: the training partners who turn up seven days a week, look after one another on the mat, and become friends off it. These pictures are the studio together — after gradings, after competitions, and on ordinary evenings — adults and children, every belt from white to black. It is the room we are proudest of, and it is built on one idea above all: kindness over toughness. If you would like to be part of it, your first class is free.
