Position roadmap

Butterfly

Passing butterfly guard as one posture system — pinch the kick away, chase with the beast walk, earn the head position, and always pass to the next room.

Survival

Knees to the chest

A good guard is a small guard — knees to the chest. Throw your knees at the chest and the guard is already lost.

Shoulder-walk recovery

Recover by shoulder-walking back — one shoulder, then the other. Race it and there is no guard left to recover.

Transitions

Knee-pinch pass

Pinch the knees to delete the kick — the ankle needs room, so quietly take the room away.

Butterfly & Half-Guard Passing — The Posture SystemInside

Beast-walk chase

Chase the shoulder-walk on hands and feet, knees pinched, hip heavy. The warm-up was the technique.

Ear-to-ear head position

Ear-to-ear, not chest-to-chest — kill the sideways turn without becoming a tippable tripod.

X-guard entry

When the pass stalls, the underhook shape is a door into X-guard — take the checkpoint, not the finish.
